Good to know before you visit
Anything not covered here, ask the building manager at the viewing. Rent is quoted in Bangladesh Taka (৳).
What is included in the rent?
The monthly rent covers the flat only. Electricity and water are charged separately at the meter and municipal rate. Lift, guard and the shared areas are covered by a small service charge, which the manager confirms at the viewing.
How much advance do I need to pay?
Two months' rent in total: the first month's rent plus one refundable security month. The refundable part is returned after the final inspection on the day you move out.
Are flats furnished?
Flats come with the fittings listed above: attached bathrooms, geyser points, a kitchen counter and built-in cabinets. Furniture is not included, so you are welcome to bring your own.
Can I keep a car or motorbike?
Yes. Parking is available in the building, and there is covered space for bicycles and motorbikes. Tell the manager when you book so a spot can be allotted.
